5 Things To Do This Summer
Depending on where you live, you may or may not have to go far to find some great hiking trails. There are plenty of books, blogs, and Pinterest posts with such titles as “Best Wildflower Hikes,” or “Hikes With Children.”
2. Walking Tours of Your City
When I travel, a walking tour of the city was my “go-to” entertainment. But I’ve never done one in the city I live in! It’s about time, don’t you think?
3. Museum Day
Many cities have a special day every so often when museum admission is free. That also means it might be busy with like-minded people who want to enjoy the cultural experience at no cost. Whether free or for a fee, take advantage of what your city has to offer.
4. Movie Night
Some cities have movie nights where a movie is projected onto a large screen. Everyone brings a picnic, a blanket (or two), and an extra jacket to watch the latest movie under the stars with 1,000 of their friends.
5. Concerts in the Park
If you live in a resort town like I do, you literally can find a free concert every single night of the week during the summer. There is almost too much to do. There is always something to do outside on a nice night.
